MINERVA is the oldest olive oil producing company in Greece. The history began one hundred years ago as a company that traded in olive oil. As time passed by the Company shifted to production and industry and began producing, packaging and selling olive oil products.
MINERVA, now in its second century, is one of the largest companies in the country in the food and personal care industry. In 1993, the Company decided to construct a modern €35m facility in Schimatari and to equip it with state-of-the-art technology and incorporating it with the know-how that Paterson & Zochonis (PZ Cussons PLC) offered, so that all of MINERVA's plans for development both within this country and abroad could be realised.
